Led by Executive Chef Jung-Su Chang, Allta offers an intimate dining experience, where each dish is a masterpiece crafted with precision and passion. About the Chef

Renowned Executive Chef Jung-Su Chang has extensive experience working in Michelin-starred venues across Korea, including Jungsik Seoul and Lescape Hotel L’amant Secret as well as celebrated destinations including Michael Mina San Francisco and the esteemed Moon Under Water.
Now at the helm of Allta in Sydney, Chef Chang continues to pursue new culinary horizons, showcasing his expertise and creativity.
Having honed his skills in diverse culinary environments, Jung-Su saw the opening of a new restaurant in Australia as an opportunity to showcase his talents in a fresh context. His aim is to deliver a memorable dining experience that resonates with patrons, drawing on his culinary expertise to evoke delight and satisfaction.
Among Jung-Su’s standout creations is the Soy Marinade Prawn with Burrata Cheese—a fusion of Korean tradition and Australian preference, exemplifying his innovative approach to blending culinary cultures.

FOUNDERS

Jangho So and Sunyoung Kim, the faces and founders of Allta, are reshaping the Sydney food scene with their innovative approach to Korean and European cuisine. With a combined experience of over 13 years in the hospitality industry, they are honouring their Korean heritage and pushing the boundaries of flavours.
Fuelled by their love for food and their desire to elevate Sydney’s food scene, Jangho and Sunyoung embarked on a new venture with Allta. Recognizing the potential to introduce a higher level of Korean cuisine to Sydney, they joined forces with Executive Chef, Jung-su Chang and to create a Korean fine dining experience that Sydney is yet to experience.
