Experience elevated Korean Gastronomy at Allta

Allta sets out to elevate modern Korean cuisine; our exemplary team, guided by Chef Jung-Su Chang aims to create memories and build upon the current Korean food culture in the Sydney dining scene. The 15 course menu has been thoughtfully laid out, supported by Chef Jung-su’s experiences and inspired by bringing Korean traditions and techniques into a modern gastronomic landscape.

Our Story

Allta comes from the Korean word for ‘Very right’ which is how we aim to deliver elevated Korean Gastronomy. A chance encounter brought restaurateurs Jangho and Sunyoung Kim in touch with one of Korea’s rising talents, Chef Jung-su Chang, and after the successful launch, of Funda (A Lot of Fun), the team wanted to present a new dimension to Korean cuisine in Sydney’s eclectic dining scene. Drawing on Chef Jung-su’s experience in Michelin starred institutions around Seoul, Allta embodies the pinnacle of Korean tradition and technique and aims to bring this practice into a modern dining experience. This resulted in being awarded two hats by Good Food on 22. August 2024.
